Our Core Values
Life is all about Christ, our Lord and our God
Jesus said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." John 14:6
"If the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you." Romans 8:11
The Holy Spirit enhances our lives as we worship Christ in spirit and in truth, obey Christ as Lord and serve Him with gladness, prepare to give account to Christ in Heaven.
Ask - What will please Jesus?
The Gospel changes everything about us
God created us in His image. We were made to experience a personal relationship with Him. Yet, our sin separated us from Him. God promised to solve our sin problem and He did so in the person and work of the Messiah, Jesus Christ. The Gospel is God's answer to our sin problem. Jesus died in our place, was buried, and rose again to conquer the death penalty of our sin and to offer for us His righteousness for life as a free gift. Believing the gospel of Jesus Christ changes us from death to life. Jesus says, "He that believes in me has everlasting life."
The Holy Spirit empowers us to know the Gospel (Eph 3:4-6), to be transformed by the Gospel (Rom 12:1-2), and to share the Gospel (Acts 1:8).
Ask: How can I experience the Gospel?
The Bible is Truth We Can Count On
"Your Word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path." - Psalm 119:105
We believe the Bible is inspired by God. It is our authority and guide for all we do. The Holy Spirit enlightens us to the truth as we gather together to study the Word, individually search the Scriptures daily, and hide God's Word in our hearts.
We ask, "What does the Bible say about it?
The love of God motivates us
"And He said to him, You shall love the lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments depend all the Law and the Prophets." Matthew 22:37-40
"If you love Me, you will keep My commandments. John 14:15-17
The Holy Spirit enables us to experience God's love and to demonstrate God's love to others.
"By this all people will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another." John 13:35
Ask - How can I show God's love?
