Check-in begins at 5:30 p.m. Friday, January 24. Friday evening supper starts at 6:30 p.m.
We will be using the Spring Valley Lodge, a facility which includes a 2000 sq. ft. great room featuring a stone gas fireplace, an outdoor deck, a warming/staging kitchen, 3 private queen suites (sleep 2 each), and 8 cabin-style bunk bed rooms (sleep 12 each). Outdoor recreational activities (weather permitting) include the use of mini golf, bb guns, archery, low ropes course activities and campfires. The game room includes ping pong, fooseball, and air hockey tables. Bring your own towels and bedding.
For those who are interested, we will also host a skeet shoot and small arms firing range session Saturday afternoon after the conclusion of the retreat on Saturday at 12:30 p.m.

About the speaker
Jon Jenks served as pastor at Calvary Baptist Church of Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin, for over twenty years. In that role he developed a plan for training men and women to serve Christ through intentional leadership discipleship. Out of this, God blessed Calvary by sending over twenty-five people into full-time ministry since 2000.
Jon is an avid hunter and outdoorsman. With farming and hunting in his background, Jon loves hard work understanding dependence upon God in his endeavors. Jon and Jen enjoy their three children, Rob, Joshua and Abigail.
As Baptist Church Planters Vice President of Training, Jon seeks to help mother churches and church plants train men and women as spiritual leaders through Leadership Journey, a year-long training program. He guides an internship program proctored by trained pastors and ministry leaders. He also brings oversight and encouragement to the enrichment and training work already being provided to Baptist Church Planters' missionaries through Leadership Summit, Family Camp, church planting school, Kingdom Come Training, and candidate school.
